AULA F75 Max software for Mac
AULA’s own software for the F75 Max runs on Windows only. AULA Studio is a free, open-source app made for macOS that changes the lighting, the screen, the clock and the keyboard settings. It talks to the keyboard directly, so there’s no driver to install.
Older versions and release notes are on GitHub Releases.
Install
Install in three steps
The app isn’t notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to confirm the first time.
Step 1: Download
Click the button. AULA Studio downloads as a small disk image.
Step 2: Drag to Applications
Open the downloaded file and drag AULA Studio into the Applications folder.
Step 3: Allow it once
The first time, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
Next: connect your F75 Max and allow the permissions it asks for.
What it does
What AULA Studio does on your Mac
Lighting
Choose from all 20 firmware effects, pick a color, and set brightness, speed and direction. The on-screen keyboard previews it instantly, and the keyboard confirms every change.
Display
Upload pictures and animated GIFs to the 128×128 display. Choose Fit, Fill or Stretch, preview the animation, and watch the upload progress.
Keyboard settings
Set key response time, the sleep timer, key locks for Windows, Alt+F4 and Alt+Tab, and the Fn switch. The keyboard clock syncs with your Mac automatically.
Battery & status
Battery level over Bluetooth, connection type, firmware version and a live keyboard that mirrors your key presses and knob turns.
Firmware safety
AULA Studio reads the firmware version but never flashes firmware. Every command it sends only changes settings you can change back.

FAQ
Drivers, safety and support
Is there an official AULA F75 Max driver for Mac?
AULA doesn’t make software for Mac; its F75 Max software is for Windows. AULA Studio is an independent, free alternative made for macOS. It isn’t affiliated with AULA or Epomaker.
Do I need to install a driver?
No. macOS already sees the F75 Max as a keyboard. AULA Studio talks to it through Apple’s own IOKit and CoreBluetooth frameworks, with no kernel extension or driver.
Can I remap keys or record macros?
Not yet. Key mapping, macros and profiles are planned for future versions.
Does it work with other AULA keyboards?
Only the AULA F75 Max is supported today. It was tested on an F75 Max with its 2024 firmware. Support for other AULA models is being explored.
Will it change my keyboard’s firmware?
No. AULA Studio reads the firmware version but never flashes firmware. Every command it sends only changes settings you can change back.
Is it safe to download?
The app is open source under the MIT License, so anyone can read the code. It has no network access and never records what you type. It isn’t notarized by Apple yet, which is why macOS asks you to confirm the first time.
